How to get started with Power Query
Hey there Reader, One big advantage that Power BI has over some (not all) other data dashboard platforms is that it has Power Query editor built into it and allows you to clean, transform, and do just about whatever you need to structure your data just so for visuals and dashboards. Power Query activities can be basic, like removing columns or rows you don't need or renaming columns to more advanced like unpivoting columns, renaming columns in bulk, or just about anything you can think of. This post covers the basics of Power Query to get you started, and you can take a look at the Power Query subject category to see what I've posted so far about what you can do in it. An Introduction to Power Query Editor.
